Solution retrospective
What I’m most proud of: I’m really proud of the fact that I was able to successfully complete the project using Tailwind CSS, especially since it was my first time working with it. Despite the learning curve, I managed to integrate its utility-first approach into the project and customize it to meet my needs.
What I would do differently next time: Next time, I would spend a bit more time familiarizing myself with some of Tailwind’s advanced features, such as responsive design and custom theming, earlier in the process. This way, I could streamline development and possibly add even more design flexibility to the project. Additionally, I might also optimize my workflow by leveraging some Tailwind plugins to enhance the build process.
What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?Challenges I encountered: I faced some Tailwind CSS-related challenges, especially since it was my first time using the framework. Understanding how to apply the utility-first classes efficiently and customizing the design without traditional CSS took some time.
How I overcame them: I was able to overcome these challenges by referring to the Tailwind documentation, which provided clear examples and explanations. Additionally, I received helpful guidance from ChatGPT, which offered solutions and insights whenever I was stuck. These resources helped me understand Tailwind better and successfully complete the project.
