A solution to the URL shortening API landing page challenge

Solution retrospective

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?
  • This is my first collaborative project and I'm proud that we've finally finished it
  • I've learned a lot about communicating with other developers and working together to build something
  • Next time, I would try to contribute to projects with multiple devs for more exposure and experience
  • Also, practicing more in my communication skills
What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?
  • The first challenge is time since we do not live in the same timezone
  • Plus, there will be instances where the other party is busy with real-life events so I need to adjust and build my other side projects instead
  • But for me, the biggest challenge is learning while building projects with others
  • We were both first time collaborators so there will be times where we need to learn how to resolve merge conflicts and fix bugs
  • However even with all this, we still manage to meet in the middle through good communication
What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

What communication tools do you recommend for collaborative projects?

  • We only communicated through Discord and GitHub PR's
  • Other than this, are there any other platforms where devs communicate to finish a project
  • Would love to hear them so that I could explore it for exposure

All other feedbacks about our project are welcome. Personally, I really appreciate it if you give us a blunt and honest review. I'll try my best to apply it in my next solution!
