A solution to the Fylo landing page with two column layout challenge

Solution retrospective

My code is so messy. How do I write clean code? How do I center/move left/move right the items such as textbox/button without using the left and right variables? How do I put objects to the top/ bottom without using ex. top: -250px; bottom: -500px;. Also, I'm having trouble optimizing it on smaller screens.

(Feedbacks/tips/tricks/criticisms will be highly appreciated.)
