A solution to the myteam multi-page website challenge

Solution retrospective

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

I’m most proud of building the full multi-page site with Next.js and Tailwind CSS while improving my understanding of the App Router and route grouping for a cleaner project structure. I completed all three responsive pages and delivered the required interactive features, including expandable team member sections, contact form validation, and hover and focus states, resulting in a polished site that closely matches the design across mobile, tablet, and desktop. Next time, I would put more attention into performance optimization and accessibility, especially around image loading, semantic HTML, and keyboard-friendly interactions, so the project feels even more complete and production-ready.

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

One of the biggest challenges I faced was aligning the decorative shapes precisely and styling the navbar so it blended seamlessly with the first section of each page rather than looking like it was floating independently. I overcame this by making careful pixel-level adjustments and repeatedly referencing the original design, which helped me fine-tune the spacing, positioning, and visual balance of the layout.

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

I’d like to improve the site further by optimizing the images and making the font load more smoothly to enhance the initial page experience. I also think subtle SVG animations would be a nice addition to make the interface feel more dynamic and polished.
