Solution retrospective
I'm most proud of building the layout on my own and making it responsive with Tailwind CSS. Along the way, I improved my understanding of Flexbox, spacing, and component structure. I also learned how to style icons correctly and when to use elements like <a> versus Link in React.
What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them? One of the biggest challenges was making the layout responsive and matching the design closely. I also had difficulty with Flexbox alignment and styling the social media icons, especially understanding how parent and child hover styles work in Tailwind CSS. I overcame these challenges by breaking the layout into smaller sections, testing each part individually, and referring to the Tailwind CSS documentation to better understand how the utility classes work. Through trial and error, I gained a much better understanding of responsive layouts and component styling.
What specific areas of your project would you like help with?I would like feedback on my code structure, whether I'm following React and Tailwind CSS best practices, and if there are ways to make my components more reusable. I'd also appreciate suggestions for improving my responsive design approach and matching the design more accurately.
