A solution to the Rock, Paper, Scissors game challenge

Solution retrospective

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

This Rock Paper Scissors solution started as an empty Vite/React/Typescript install with the Frontend Mentor starter assets, and now it has the full game flow, responsive layout, theme support, persistence, accessibility polish, and Netlify deploy config.

The app stays close to the Frontend Mentor original challenge while adding tasteful extras: a light theme, subtle animations, persisted score/high score, and an accessible replay flow.

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

The main challenge I ran into was balancing the original Frontend Mentor design with the extra polish I wanted to add. I wanted the app to still feel like the challenge brief, but I also added a light theme, score persistence, a high score indicator, and subtle animations. Keeping those additions quiet enough to support the experience instead of distracting from it took some tweaking.

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

I would appreciate feedback on how closely the layout matches the original design across desktop and mobile, whether the light theme feels like a useful addition, and whether the score/high-score persistence feels clear to use.
