Free members now get AI-powered code reviews each month

We've been working hard on making our solution reports more useful, and today we're rolling out the first change: every free community member now gets 2 AI report credits per month.

What are AI reports?

When you submit a solution on Frontend Mentor, you get a solution report broken down into four categories: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Accessibility. Each category includes static analysis that flags issues in your code. It's useful, but it only catches so much.

AI reports enhance each of these categories with deeper AI-powered analysis. They find up to 3x more issues than static analysis alone and also outline your strengths, so you get a clearer picture of where you stand and where to focus next.

Until now, AI reports were only available to Pro members. Starting today, free members can generate 2 AI reports per month to get deeper feedback on the solutions that matter most to them.

Pro members continue to have unlimited access to AI reports across all their solutions.

We've also simplified credits

As part of this update, we've removed screenshot credits. Free members are no longer capped on how many times they can regenerate their solution screenshots. If you improve your solution and want an updated screenshot, go for it.

This means the credit types on Frontend Mentor are now:

• AI report credits for AI-powered code reviews
• Premium credits for accessing premium challenges
• Design credits for downloading design files

Fewer credit types, less to think about.

This is stage 1

Today's update is the first step in a bigger effort to improve our solution reports. We want them to be more comprehensive, more actionable, and more helpful for your growth as a developer.

We'll share more as this work progresses. For now, submit a new solution or regenerate a report on an existing one to try out AI-enhanced reports for yourself.
