I'm proud of how well this came out after re-writing it.
What specific areas of your project would you like help with?I'm having trouble understanding why my buttons aren't showing up. Other than that, if you have any feedback for me, let me know!

not sure if your question regarding the buttons is still up to date, because they are showing up just fine and work as well. All in all your solution looks really good, but the active bar isn't high enough to fully cover the default bar (the icons are peeking over)
