Blog preview card almost responsive with Flexbox and MediaQueries

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?
It's note very easy to have a responsive layout. Especially in this case, to play with the width of the illustration . I thought that it was possible to maintain the illustration's width while reducing the size of its container by applying the cover property. But the result was disappointing.
I'm a newbie. I'm programing for only a week, if you have any advice, dont hesitate
