    Great solution, you should look into using REM and EM units instead of px, This would make your solution more responsive, Worth taking a look at BEM Notation as well for your naming convention. One more thing If you eager to learn SCSS is a good thing to learn and using CSS Variables so you CSS is not DRY(Do Repeat Your self)
