CONTACT FORM

Solution retrospective
Most proud: the form's accessibility is real (native inputs, labels, announced errors, focus on the first invalid field), and the server re-validates everything with parameterized queries. I also checked current free-tier terms before recommending Neon plus Render, which caught that Render's free databases expire after 30 days.
Differently: I'd ask about your setup up front (server language, Windows) instead of assuming, and I'd lead with the known Windows and Git snags (PowerShell script policy, Git identity, hidden .env.example) rather than letting them surface one at a time.
I'd also be more careful with figures that change often (Neon's free storage showed 1 GB on your screen, not the 0.5 GB I quoted), and I'd say plainly that I never ran the code against a real Postgres database myself.
What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them? The biggest challenges were ambiguity and not seeing your screen: "postgres" didn't tell me your server language, so I assumed Node and Express and said so, and the Windows hiccups (psql not on PATH, PowerShell blocking npm, Git's missing first commit, the GitHub connection failure) could only be diagnosed from your screenshots and error text. Free-tier terms change often, so I searched for current Render and Neon limits instead of relying on memory, which is how the 30-day Render database expiry got caught.
