Solution retrospective

I am not sure why the woman image in desktop mode is not hidden despite its container has hidden overflow-x. I have tried so many different ways but it won't work. If I add the hidden overflow to the main element, it will then hide the box too, which should be visible.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
