Dark's Chat app CSS illustration

Solution retrospective
I’m most proud of how close I got to the original design — around 99% accurate — and that the layout is fully responsive across devices. It felt like a real improvement compared to my earlier projects.
Next time, I’d like to focus more on improving the code structure and efficiency. I want my CSS to be cleaner and more maintainable, with better use of naming and logical grouping. It was a great practice project that showed me where I’ve improved and where I can still grow.
What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them? One of the main challenges I faced was managing widths and heights, especially while using Flexbox and positioning elements precisely. Some parts didn't align perfectly at first. I referred to documentation and also used ChatGPT to understand certain CSS behaviors better. That process helped me discover new tricks and understand layout flow more deeply.
What specific areas of your project would you like help with?I’d love some feedback on my CSS structuring — particularly around how to make my code more efficient and scalable. Any advice on writing cleaner, reusable styles and better ways to handle responsive design with less repetition would be really helpful.
