Solution retrospective

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

Quite proud of:

  • use of modern stack React 19 Vite 7 TailwindCSS 4,
  • successfull deployment of separate backend server for secure interactions with distant geo.ipify API, both locally with express and on Netlify with lambda function config,

Next time:

  • maybe complete the app with tests (Jest), use of TypeScript ?
What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

The most difficult challenge was setting up the deployment of the application's backend on Netlify (I encountered typical CORS errors).

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

I used the free version of the project, which didn’t include access to Figma, so my frontend might not be pixel-perfect.
