I'd love to improve all the JS. It's clunky and I don't like it at all. :-(

There are way better solutions to this and I'd be happy to get some advice on best practices for the code. Also I wasn't able to read the JSON file with Fetch API. Maybe someone has some tips on that too.

Help is highly apreciated.
