Solution retrospective

It took a while but I'm back. My Hover State on the Nav is still a work in progress amongst other things 'cause I couldn't seem to get it right after a while. And I didn't know how I could change my svg color from blue to white so it can show on my footer section. Any good source for more knowledge would be appreciated.
