Ecommerce Product Page

Solution retrospective
I am proud of finishing the challenge, there were moments I felt like quitting and I actually took time off because I felt inadequate but I overcame those emotions and finished. I think I need to take smaller steps into the finding the solution. I find myself trying to do it all at once and because of that I tend to get overwhelmed and feel like I am not good at this. I know for sure there is a lot of repetitive code or overly complicated code that that I can simplify but I didn't want to break anything again.
What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?Resizing the product image is something I struggled with, I got it to look decent but I know it can look better. I honestly just played around with it until I got it to a point that I was content with. Removing items from the cart was an issue, because I was using a static ID, whenever I tried deleting something it was deleting everything, but I soon realized that was the issue and fixed it.
What specific areas of your project would you like help with?Honestly the Javascript. I know I have code that can be simplified or even condensed but in fear of breaking anything like I did several times I left it as it. If someone could take some time and let me know what areas can be better and how would be amazing. The addToCart() and the functions to update the image lines 149-172 are definitely ones I would like feedback on. These are the types of functions I need the most help in to learn of better approached.
