Solution retrospective

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?
  • Finishing the project, again the more I do the less imposter syndrome I feel. It feel good gaining that confidence in myself again.
  • It is becoming easier create responsive layouts due to the practice.
  • Figuring out and understanding the clamp()
  • Getting a better grasp on how powerful SASS/SCSS can be within things like mixins
What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?
  • Well getting my SCSS to show at first because the project came with the dist directory in .gitignore which I didn't realize after some trial and error.
  • Getting the right sizing for the font using clamp(). I found a neat tool that helps with that.
  • I still need to spend some time understanding SCSS mixins.
What specific areas of your project would you like help with?
  • I know the file structure was is a bit over kill for such a small project, however I wanted to get opinions on it to use later on in larger scale projects.
  • Was my use of clamp() correct?
  • Is there anything else I could have done different to make the site more responsive? or accessibility friendly?
