Interactive Rating Component with Flexbox and Vanilla JS

My question is mostly about the changing background color of the rating note we select in JS (if I understand the design correctly).

NOTE: I didn't use any figma files, i've only use the given assets.

1. I wasn't really able to make a good function/event regardless these ratings notes, my logic for this step was that I wanted to change the background color ONLY for the selected rating note, any feedback or recommandations for this are really welcome including the logic if necessary.
