How to add a transition in the dropdown nav? I cannot apply transition while using display. Is there a better way to make'em appear?
How to add the overlay without any empty div?

Your solution looks great on my small device also good job. what I have for you is that transitions don't work on display:none You can use visibility: hidden and opacity but transitions don't work on display hidden
