Solution retrospective

I found it difficult to pass states between my components.

I would like some feedback if I should have fetched my data in my parent and passed it into the <Map /> child. Or is it ok like I have done it? I am second-guessing this due to having to pass states then back out of the child again. Seem inefficient but I would like to hear another opinion!
