Solution retrospective
I am most proud of being able to get reuse a previous code that allowed me to focus mostly on the HTML and CSS. I was able to creatively think of how to be able to get the hover effect to work when I hover over the three text and the image it should show me the active state which is the background color and the icons. I was able to use absolute and relative to make this effect happen when hovering over the title, author, and image
What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them? One challenge I faced was trying to think of how I would be able to get the overlay image when hovered over the title, author, and image. I was able to use the position absolute and realtive when hovered overlaying the image. It was a bit tricky. I was able to first work on the image overlay when I hover over the image it shows the background and icon hovered over then I implemented the other two title and author afterwards.
What specific areas of your project would you like help with?I would like to pratice on writing reusable code and being able to think about different ways to write css and then slowly implement JavaScript later on to get some logic going in the websites.
