Solution retrospective

I would like to learn how to use proper font weights. I'm also unsure of my code in the aspect of semantics. What type of CSS is best to make use of; inline, internal or external? How do you vertically position an element in the centre? When using absolute positioning, how do you centre align vertically and horizontally?
