What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

Need help with the dropdown using javascript (I tried using JS event-listener to create the drop down to no avail). I paused on this as i was using so much time trying to solve this issue. I didn't want to use bootsrap, i wanted to use js to handle this. Any help??
