I'd like some help on displaying the tooltip so that when clicked it stays on the screen and it doesn't toggle as it is now.

Hey! I guess you have got a typo in your JS file (in 2 places) where the 'tooltip' is misspelt.

@sankaragomathym First of all I would like to say, I have never met my namesake (Sankara) ever in my life, it's such a blessing. Second, thanks, I can't believe I didn't catch that typo

Hi Thomas, it was interesting to figure out this problem. Most probably your js says, when I click add display block then your class makes it previous styling, and it causes div disappears. I would recommend use toggle class. You can check on google. Good luck.
