When should I use Flexbox over CSS Grid and vice versa?
My components look smaller than the given design, how do i ensure that my designs are the same size?

Hi! Gene, I have tips for your questions

Use flexbox, if you are good at it in using, specially in my opinion, if you want to work on One dimensional layout OR for small UI design then go for flexbox.
Use grid, like in Advance level projects, blogs like webpage etc.

I think using pseudo elements is best way to color your cards.
