Solution retrospective

I built this one out twice - first attempt was with vanilla CSS and separated media queries but got stuck with the interactions at different sizes. Then redid it following a tutorial using SCSS. Learned a lot but still feel uncertain on the best way to separate out media queries so that interactions don't start to overlap. I have no specific questions but any advice or link to resources on organising media queries in a structured was would be appreciated. Thanks
