Solution retrospective
Used filter property to change color of img icons on hover. Normally I used to embed the svg code and change fill on it.
Used aria-label for accessibility of anchor tags, buttons and also for the two navigation menus on the page (header and footer).
Tried using accessibility practices (prefers reduced motion) while adding smooth scroll for page and bounce animation for down arrow.
Feedback on the best practices I have tried implementing and anything I might have missed is welcome.
