Room homepage (vanilla JS)

Hello everyone, I really enjoyed the design, so I did my best to make the page as classy as possible. I needed many media queries to keep the layout consistent at any size. I tried to make an infinite carousel with vanilla JS, most of times it is smooth but at time I experience image flickering, is it the case for you? Do you think my little trick is the best solution for this problem? Thanks !
