What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

I didn't know how to implement dark mode, now i do, which is so cool!

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

a challenge was finding out the best way to implement dark mode but as usual there's no best way. however, i did find a modern, preferred way to implement it with some reduced use of JavaScript using the new light-dark function in css.
