Solution retrospective
What i ended up doing on that project was way more messy than what i originally expected. I was planning to build upon my mobile design to create the desktop part but i ended up using media queries to remove a lot of what i wrote for mobile instead. That's probably a good example of what NOT to do in a project. Still i'm now aware that i have problems with the way i go from mobile to desktop. All that's left to do is work on it!
