Solution retrospective

I had a hard time when deploying to github pages due to the homepage property that is required for react apps built using create-react-app. Adding the homepage property messed with the images that I had placed within the public folder which were no longer accessible. If anyone has come across this issue before I would greatly appreciate any ideas on how to go about it? I Eventually had to deploy to vercel which worked. Thanks in advance.
