Solution retrospective
I am most proud of how I effectively used CSS background and filter properties to create a polished and visually appealing design. It feels rewarding to see how small details like these can elevate the entire project. Next time, I would focus more on adding animations or transitions to make the design more interactive and explore advanced accessibility features to ensure a better user experience for everyone.
What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them? One of the biggest challenges I encountered was working with the background-blend-mode
and filter
properties to achieve the right visual effect for the overlay. It took some trial and error to balance brightness, contrast, and saturation without compromising the design. I overcame this by experimenting with different values, referring to documentation, and testing across devices to ensure consistency and quality.
I would appreciate help in optimizing my code further, particularly in ensuring that the background and filter properties are applied efficiently across all devices without impacting performance. Additionally, feedback on improving the accessibility and responsiveness of the layout, especially for larger screens, would be valuable. Lastly, suggestions on enhancing interactivity, such as adding subtle animations or hover effects, would be great for making the design more engaging.
