What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

Using the emit function to capture an event in a child function.

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

When the app launches initially, the current link does not show the focus value. Also, the url does not display the path being viewed, is there a way of doing it especially without using a router.

Any assistance with these will be much appreciated.
