What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

The original implementation had CORS issues when making API calls for URL shortening. While the README did mention using a proxy server, I initially didn't read it properly and wanted to implement everything on the frontend without relying on a proxy. Due to these CORS restrictions, I replaced the original API with a new one that works correctly.
