I'm using BEM for the first time, so I'd like feedback on whether I'm using it correctly. I also haven't used CSS Grid much before, so I'd appreciate any feedback on my Grid layout as well.

Any feedback is welcome! I'd love to hear your thoughts on how I can improve. But I would especially appreciate feedback on whether I used Grid correctly.

I appreciate any feedback! Except for advice on using variables, as I plan to start learning them soon.

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

I am able to review my code to adjust minor errors.

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

I didn't have the figma file so I had to guess randomly the accurate padding for the parent and children.

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

How to get the exact width and height of my elements.

Discraimer: I'm new to web development, so please don't take my words too seriously. I need to leave you feedback to move forward in the learning paths, and although I can't answer your question, I tried to make my feedback at least a little bit helpful.

    1. I think you could wrap your <h1> inside a <header>.
    2. It's better not to leave the alt attribute empty.
    3. I think for social media links it's better to use anchor tags instead of divs, since in the context of this project, they're meant to be links (If you decide to replace those divs with anchor tags, it's a good idea to wrap them in a <nav> tag).
    4. Your social links divs are written on one line, I would recommend placing each div (or <a>, if you decide to switch) on it's own line to improve code readability.
    5. Maybe I missed something, but I don't think the social links are supposed to scale on hover. Though, if that's your experiment, I'd suggest using a transition property because the effect feels too sudden.

Great job using variables for colors!

Unfortunately, I don't know how to help you with your question about the elements' width and height. I usually rely on Figma designs, but for this challenge the Figma files are only available with a Pro subscription. So I don't know how to find the exact width and height without those.

Great job overall! Good luck on your journey and becoming a Web developer! :)

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

I started using the BEM syntax. Howerver, i encountered some problems on how to name the small text above the title and teh button. So i used some utility classes. But still, i am not sure if this is the correct solution.

Hi, sorry, but I can't give you the feedback you requested due to my lack of knowledge. However it seems I need to leave you feedback to progress in the learning path, so I tried to make my feedback useful despite not being able to provide what you want.

    1. Your <button> is too big, which puches all the following elements lower than in the design. I recommend exporting elements/frames from Figma and using the Chrome extension PerfectPixel for more precise layout adjustments. I use it often and I find it very helpful.

    2. I think you could wrap your <h1> in a <header>.

    3. I also don't see a mobile version, though maybe you only intended to create a desktop version.

You wrote very good code, and I hope I didn't waste your time with my comment, and I'm sorry if I said something wrong.

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

I’m proud of how I structured my CSS using Flexbox to create a clean and responsive layout. It was a great way to practice organizing elements efficiently.

Next time, I would like to explore more advanced CSS techniques, such as Grid, to enhance my designs and improve responsiveness.

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

One of the main challenges was ensuring that the layout looked consistent across different screen sizes. I initially struggled with spacing and alignment, but I overcame it by testing different Flexbox properties and adjusting margins and paddings.

Another challenge was properly linking fonts within my project, which I resolved by experimenting with different font import methods and verifying the file paths.

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

I would appreciate feedback on best practices for structuring CSS files to keep them organized and scalable.

Additionally, I’d like guidance on how to optimize font loading to ensure better performance and compatibility across browsers.

Disclaimer: I'm very new to web development, so please don't take my feedback seriously.

I think considering that the site only needs two text elements, it might be better to use Static font instead of the Variable font, maybe it will optimize the fonts a little.

Also .ttf format is not the best for web, better use .woff2 or .woff, as far as I know Google Fonts doesn't provide these formats, but I use CloudConvert to change formats, I think it's better than using .ttf, but i'm sorry if i'm wrong.

You created a great code btw!
