Hello, @jclegg31 this challenge is a little tricky even though it looks simple, and congratulations on completing it 🙌
I can relate to all the struggles you mentioned on a personal level 😊 and it can be overwhelming at times, which is part of what informed my decision to get the premium plan and get the Figma files for the challenges. Even at that, it takes a lot to make pixel-perfect designs.
You can check out this Chrome extension and learn how to use it if you are very much interested in pixel perfection.
From what I can see, you are doing absolutely well 👍

Hello @tsh22 👋 congratulations on completing this challenge 🙌
Your solution is nice and thoughtfully implemented ✅
- Your HTML code is semantic, however, you overused the div container. Most of the contents of the statistics could be wrapped in paragraphs and list elements accordingly, so you might want to pay attention to that in your next projects.
- Your solution is responsive across multiple screen sizes
- Your code is well-structured and readable.
Once again, nice implementation, and keep up the good work.
Happy coding 🙏

I really love your design implementation, and the API you used gives good details of the words searched. In fact, I'm bookmarking this project so I can reference the API later. 🚀
However, I have a few suggestions. The
home icon
is just decorative, I think it would be a much better use case if it is used torefresh
the page for a fresh word search. Also, thesearch functionality
is triggered only when the search icon is clicked, I think the search functionality should also work when theEnter key
is pressed after inputting the search words. The application would have a much better user experience if these issues were corrected.
Overall, your solution rocks, and has excellent implementation.
Happy coding! 🙏

Your solution is responsive across multiple screen sizes, however, I found that the intro contents begin to overlap for a screen size lower than 300px. I know this is an edge case, and there are not many devices on such screen sizes, however, it would be nice to create some spaces for the intro contents for devices in that screen size range.
overall, your solution rocks and I like it. 👍
Happy coding 🙏
