I couldn't find webkit property to make the past part of the slider change color, so it is working only for firefox. Does anyone know how to style this for webkit based browser ?

This is my first react app, it was really comfuse at fisrt so I decided to scrap all the the code and started again from scratch, I think the structure is much better and easier to work with on this second attempt.
I noticed I never used componentdidmount and componentdidunmount methods, is this ok to not use those methods ?
Also my react component page is holding a lot of infos through its state, I didn't find any other way to be able to reuse info from one subcomponent to another.
SCSS is defintely not that clean.
If you find anything not working properly or if you have any suggestion feel free to give a feedback.

Really had fun on this challenge, but noticed that the figma file are a bit different from the actual design on the color of the asset don't know why. It was first time I tried to animate some element in, I understand how to do it technically but it is hard to balance it to make it look clean.

This was a verry interesting project, I've never build theme switcher before, and building one and make it work with the API updating field content was verry fun. I'm not sure my way to code that was the most efficient, maybe the next step would be to learn a framework.
I'm open to any feedback :)

Second time working with promises and JSON file, this made me more confident but for some reason I can't manage to make the button works, but when I change the value of my variable in the js file the code is able to get the correct value. If anyone have any clue why it is not working feel free to tell me. The error I get in the console is : TypeError: NetworkError when attempting to fetch resource.
Update: thanks to slack community comeone told me that the error comes from html tag that I used for the button, indeed I used anchor link, combining anchor link with click event is not really possible, as page will reload each time we click on anchor link, so I switched tags to button and now it's working fine
