Would appreciate any sort of feedback regarding accessibility, responsiveness, clean code, etc. I would also like to try out using SCSS next time, if anyone has any great resources for newcomers in the field, I would greatly appreciate that too!

There are multiple areas that I was struggling in - would love any advice on how to approach them!

    1. How do I create a tailwind for the popout? I saw a great approach using position absolute for the :after element and position it in relation to the popout, but my popout is itself positioned absolute so I couldn't us this approach.
    2. For the desktop view, I'm currently positioning the popout with top and left properties, however, I had to calculate the px for both of these properties to center the popout according to the share button. Would appreciate any ideas that would make this more responsive and straightforward!
    3. I can't figure out a way to make the share button align with both the author's information and the share popout in all devices size. At some point when I shrink the viewport to a size between desktop and mobile, the share button is positioned weirdly (it always stays horizontally aligned with the author's information, but it's a lot higher compared to the popout)

Would appreciate any ideas to solve these problems! Thank you.

  • Responsive Card Preview with Vanilla HTML and CSS

My "card" component has a height of 455.5 instead of 450 as set in Figma when viewed in desktop view, this results in a white space under the image as the desktop image has a height of 450. However, I couldn't figure out why it was behaving this way. I tried solving this problem by switching between min-height and height set on different components, switching between padding and margin, and also not using border-box - none of those worked tho... Any thoughts on why?

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

I'm proud that I can build interactive and event listener with Javascript DOM. I would like to try another way to utilize it.

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

It's frustating when the data.json isn't retrieved by the web when I deploy it with github. It's resolved by using vercel.

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

I really like your approach of utilizing the Map data structure. I think the code looks clean and performs efficiently, the solution also resembles the design a lot - great work!

I love the website! The buttons work perfectly including the hover effect and all. The email input also successfully checks the input with a custom error message. One thing I would suggest is to choose one between having your customized error and the default error message. But overall, great work!!

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

This was the first time ive used javascript, but im happy with how it turned out, despite being extremely messy, and probably a bit complicated for whatever yall wanted. Ill go check out solutions to see how yall coded this up because the way I did it seemed a bit sloppy.

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

JS. Its kinda weird bc theres nothing telling me what exactly im doing wrong as I write it. I learned to debug with my console on the inspect page.

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

JS. The way I did this was kinda complex. Theres probably an easier way.

Great job! Highly represented the design and is also responsive. Would recommend improving the javascript code so that the share popout can be collapsed.

I love how you separated your CSS into different style sheets and separately included them, makes the code structured and clean! Website's also very responsive - great job!

The styling for the list is pretty accurate and impressive! The background color cuts off at the bottom of the viewport and you might be able to fix this by setting the background color different directly in the body tag!
