I really enjoyed making this page.
- @Junkdog-04What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?
I'm proud of having respected the semantic structure of the HTML and sticking closely to the original design, including colors, spacing, and typography. I also made sure to use proper font files and responsive layout techniques.
If I were to do it again, I’d spend more time polishing the mobile layout first instead of starting with the desktop version. That way I’d catch spacing issues earlier and avoid reworking breakpoints.
What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them? One of the main challenges was matching the visual spacing and font details exactly as shown in the design. It took some trial and error to get the border-radius, font sizes, and weights just right — especially considering rem units and font fallback behavior.
Also, I accidentally placed the footer beside the content instead of below it, due to using display: flex on the body. Once I changed the layout flow to stack vertically and moved the footer outside the centered container, it worked perfectly.
What specific areas of your project would you like help with?I’d love feedback on:
-
Accessibility best practices (especially around figure/figcaption and screen-reader-only content).
-
Improving the responsiveness of the layout, particularly on very small or large screens.
-
Any small CSS refinements or refactors to make the code cleaner or more scalable.
@jatin1234kumarThat was an awesome challenge and I need more challenges like these.
