This is a good start. Its layed out really nicely though I think you could make the background grey for the replies. It is also responsive which is cool.
The buttons and smaller attention to detail was well addressed too.
The fact that you managed to do this with plain JS is very impressive and you should be proud.
I think your reply logic is better than mine so I can learn something from you here.
I do appreciate that this task was rather challenging but I do this it is worthwhile to try and get this project looking closer to the original designs if you want? I can see you used tailwind which I also think makes life easier

My first time using React for a project like this so there's a lot I could improve on.
What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?Handling all the validation was challenging. I mostly hacked it together for this solution. Will revisit in the future once I've worked on the fundamentals a little more. Dollar and person icons are broken on the deployed app at the moment.
What specific areas of your project would you like help with?Any pointers appreciated!
P@tobaojoLooks really good!
It closely resembles the design though your code isn't available for review. I liked that you used react and tailwind for this.
The only thing I spotted is there is no currency symbol out the result output on the right. (I made the same mistake).

This project was my first Svelte project. The one thing that I would do differently, is try to separate the components more. The

file is a bit bloated, but I think that this is not a big issue for this project, given its relatively small scope.I am taking this project as part of the Introduction to front-end testing learning path here on Frontend Mentor. I fixed the issue I had with the Testing Library set-up, and now I'm in the process of writing the automated tests.
P@tobaojoThis is really good. The designs are nice and is close to the original design. I personally haven't used svelte before so I cannot comment too much on the code.
The Buttons for the tip values don't seem to work?
The custom input and the reset button works well however.
It is also responsive and looks good on mobile devices.
I think just take another look at the buttons and you are golden!

This is brilliant. Code is good and nice that you opted to use React. I had a hard time using plain JS but I got there in the end.
The designs are really good too.
So well done all around.

I love this. This is perfect and I am learning stuff from the tailwind you used.
I have no issues with the code. Makes sense and reads well.
Well done all around!

Perfect solution! nothing to add here!
