Solution retrospective
I just wanted to know if we are allowed top make slight modifications to the design, I included a sort dropdown and scroll to top button because I felt there were necessary, just wanted to be sure if we are allowed to do that?

Try placing "cursor: pointer" to differentiate between whats clickable and whats not. the detail section of country needs max-width because at higher screen sizes it seem to follow the width of the screen, and there seems to be a center problem aswell.
Overall great work, loved the sort button and the animation of the dropdown list

Of course, you are allowed to make as many modifications as you like.
