Looks good! Don't be too hard on yourself. I think you did a good job and the code follows good practices.
What in particular are you struggling with on the background? Looks like your end result got you pretty close!

Thank you for your feedback. That encourages me. My bg is almost good with a 1440px width, but it is not responsive and disappears in 375px width mobile format. I'm learning with others' code.
