React + React Router + Bootstrap Planet Fact Site

I think the styling was the biggest problem I faced with this challenge. Maybe someone can help me with the following:

1. I have looked for days, and many, many hours on trying to get the navbar to close and got to the link when it is clicked. I found ways to close the navbar when the link is clicked, but it does not got to the link it just closes. The navbar is made with bootstrap 5 , so if anyone has any idea I was greatly appreciate it

2. When the navbar opens it creates more space than I would like, and it would not be a problem if the navbar closed when the link is clicked, but since it doesnt I could use some help of erasing some of that space
