Just a few things: on mobile the email field and button are not aligned, and are causing horizontal scroll.

Also, on clicking the button to submit email address, the error message appears and disappears quite quickly - regardless of whether it's a valid email or not.

I like that you caught that sneaky button shadow - looks really great!

As you can see in the screen capture comparison your layout in the desktop layout is not extending the full width of the browser window. Seems if you remove the width off your .background-svg it solves the issue
