What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

Problem: Couldn't get the cut off effect on the hero images

Fix: Used relative poisitoning on parent, then used transform to move my images off the screen.

Problem: So far I've had no problem using the "mobile first approach", until this project lol.

Fix: I realized I really should just take the path of least resistence even if it means just doing desktop first. I had to restart from mostly scratch, starting with desktop first ended up being much easier when it came to media queries at the end.

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?
    • Finishing the project, again the more I do the less imposter syndrome I feel. It feel good gaining that confidence in myself again.
    • It is becoming easier create responsive layouts due to the practice.
    • Figuring out and understanding the clamp()
    • Getting a better grasp on how powerful SASS/SCSS can be within things like mixins
What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?
    • Well getting my SCSS to show at first because the project came with the dist directory in .gitignore which I didn't realize after some trial and error.
    • Getting the right sizing for the font using clamp(). I found a neat tool that helps with that.
    • I still need to spend some time understanding SCSS mixins.
What specific areas of your project would you like help with?
    • I know the file structure was is a bit over kill for such a small project, however I wanted to get opinions on it to use later on in larger scale projects.
    • Was my use of clamp() correct?
    • Is there anything else I could have done different to make the site more responsive? or accessibility friendly?

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

I only encounter challenges with how to post my page on Github, it's really exhausting for me.

    Another solution !

You could do better! Try formatting the page like in the preview.
