All solutions

I feel like my css was just trash on this one. Lots of quick fixes and little planning. I rushed this a fair bit.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated :)

So this wasn't very difficult. But I'd love to know what you think of the API process I used and any advice regarding the JS/API.

Also... this website works perfectly in Chrome, but in Firefox it returns the same advice even if I close and reopen the browser. It's a bit odd and almost impossible to find any solutions to fix it. If you do know, I'd love to hear about it.

    Thanks, Gareth

Things are getting a lot better. I managed to finish this in good time with few issues.

A key component I realised with this one is to properly plan out your html structure which saves you a massive headache later down the line.

Otherwise any feedback is super appreciated. Help me and I will give you advice on how to escape a rabid bear attack!

    Not so bad, went well.

Any feedback is appreciated and I'll send you cupcakes for your effort.

    Hi there good looking!

This challenge really helped me learn a lot and reinforce stuff I already knew. I struggled a bit with the layout but I got there eventually.

When it comes to JS though, I struggled initially. I would highly appreciate any feedback regarding my JS and especially with refactoring my code. I think it's too long but I can't really find a way to make it shorter...

Otherwise any other feedback is eagerly awaited! If you'd like to join my discord server with some other front end devs who are starting up, please DM :)

I didn't suffer too much on this one. I'm interested in feedback regarding my JS if you'd be so damned kind!

As usual, any feedback would be extremely appreciated as it's like spinach is to Pop-Eye - it buffs up my forearms... which makes typing a breeze!

Also I'm putting together a small community of beginner front end devs. Feel free to join me on Discord. DM me for the link!

    Hello there,

I restarted the project 2 times as I didn't really get a solid grasp of what the html layout should be. I finally settle with what I have now and it's working well.

I had particular difficulty getting the list items to align properly.

Any feedback is highly appreciated. In fact I'll use voodoo to protect you from ghosts if you help me! Great deal I'd say!

P.S If you DM me I'll send you my discord, I'm putting together a little community of active front end developers who are looking to improve their skills. So if you'd like to join feel free.

Thanks for checking out my project.

I had a bit of an issue with <form> and inputs and all that. I was learning everything as I went along. I'd be very interested in feedback related to my form submit process.

Also the hero image that had to swap from mobile to desktop gave me a headache in the beginning. I am not sure if my solution is optimal or "correct" or even moral in the eyes of the lord. But any help there would be appreciated too.

    Thanks a ton, Gareth

I had quite a bit of trouble with the JS but figured it out eventually. I learned quite a lot especially with regards to positioning.

One bit of feedback I'm quite interested is my semantic html and the readability of my css. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. You don't understand. I go and make a cup of coffee and read the feedback like 10 times. So please indulge me!

    Thanks, Gareth

This was my first project after not being here for 2 months. Took a while to get back on my feet. Any feedback is appreciated. Can't really think of any issues in particular besides messing around with flexbox like a pig in mud.

I'd be interested to see if you did this with grid though. Thanks everyone! :)

I have finished this one after ages. I struggled so much with getting the background correct but I still haven't managed to do it in a responsive way.

If you could give me a hint as to how to do the background so it works well when responsive I'll let you feed my pet duck.

    Thank you

    Hello fellow front-enders!

This challenge really put my patience to the test as trying to get the proportions just right was a nightmare.

Any feedback, advice, insults, or random information is welcome.

    Thanks, Gareth

    Hello fellow Front Enders!

This one was pretty easy. Perhaps there is a problem you'd like to find and let me know about? Challenge accepted???

    Any advice is always welcome!

    Thank you! Gareth

    Hello fellow front enders!

This project was a bit tedious at the end but the beginning was quite fun. I fine tuned the project with Pixel Perfect Pro (free Firefox extension to overlay the preview image over your site for to-the-pixel fine tuning)

I have a detailed, and hopefully not verbose, README you may want to read. Otherwise any helpful advice, tips and tricks would be much appreciated!

    Thanks a ton! Gareth

    Hey everybody!

This one was pretty easy. I mostly struggled with getting the colours right. Do you have any tools that you could point me in the direction of to use the eyedropper to get colours (to match)?

Thanks every, have a great day!

Thanks for taking a look at my project!

I would like some feedback if you'd be so kind. Particularly, those pesky z-index problems I have when using opacity and creating transitions with overlapping elements. I don't seem to catch the drift and frustratingly I drift off into the sunset without a clue as to why my svg is not displaying even though I have opacity set to 1...? I managed to fix it but I think that was down to dumb luck.

    Thanks again! Gareth

    Salutations!

This project wasn't bad. I learned a couple things along the way. I'd love to learn more so I you have a way to refactor my code or provide a better method or two I am all ears!

    Thank you!
