I followed along with a Youtube tutorial on building a website from scratch. As soon as I finished the tutorial, I picked up this FEM challenge and use all the things I learned from the tutorial, and applied them to this challenge. I found this way of learning is very useful compared to following the tutorial mindlessly or doing Fem challenges alone with no help and direction.

It's so slow to build the website using Sass compare to Tailwind... Anyway, In this project, I used a lot of clamps that minimize the usage of the media query and made the Scss files smaller.

I think I'm getting better at tailwind! I also started to comment on my code, which helps a lot when styling 😁. Feedback is welcome!

    In this challenge:

    • I used the CSS clamp function for the first time and the effect is amazing.
    • I learned so much about tailwind, but I feel I like Sass more? Maybe I just need to get used to using tailwind.
    • I practiced making reusable components like the Button and Logo components.
    • I also split up the big components into many small components.

Second challenge completed... I really need a break. I was so close to burnout.🤣

What I did and tried in this challenge:

    • created 2 reusable minxins to create buttons and gray-pattern-blocks on the page.
    • tried using helper classes, but I didn't bother it too much.
    • used Sass partial to make code smaller

Challenge 3 is coming soon! 😉

Hello, guys! I'm trying to finish 3 junior challenges in a week. This is the first challenge of this week, and I spent almost 2 days on it😒, especially on chasing pixel-perfect.

First time using utility classes to style, I feel CSS is so much cleaner.

My Code is way too messy that I gave up implementing the drag and drop feature... Next time, I think I need a better file structure, and to work on the features first before styling the app. 🤣
