A solution to the Conference ticket generator challenge

Solution retrospective

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time? 🚀 Conference Ticket Generator Challenge

Hi everyone! 👋 Here is my solution for the Conference Ticket Generator challenge, built with Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS in a monorepository structure.

🛠️ Built with
  • Next.js (App Router)
  • TypeScript (Strict typing, React.SubmitEvent)
  • Tailwind CSS (Responsive layout and utility classes)
  • React Hooks (useState, image object URL handling)
💡 What I learned
  • Managing state transitions cleanly between the form and the generated ticket.
  • Handling local avatar image uploads dynamically using URL.createObjectURL.
  • Strictly typing form submission events with React.SubmitEvent for cleaner and safer code execution.
💬 Questions & Feedback

Feel free to check out my code and live preview! Any feedback on performance, accessibility, or code organization is very welcome. Happy coding! 🙌

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

Managing a monorepository structure in Next.js while ensuring clean component state transitions between the form and the generated ticket. I also worked through properly handling dynamic image object URLs on the client side and ensuring pixel-perfect responsive alignment across mobile and desktop.

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

I'd love feedback on accessibility (a11y) best practices for the form inputs and dynamic ticket state, as well as any clean code suggestions for React state management and Tailwind CSS styling in Next.js!
